SmartCAT’s mobile app provides custom cleaning checklists detailing which windows, chemicals and equipment are required in order to get the job done. Users “check off” steps as they complete them to ensure all windows are clean while following proper procedures.

RFID Wall Tags allow for quick data collection such as the window cleaners’ start and finish times as well as their location. This information supplies evidence of when the cleaners were at the facility.

The Process

The window cleaner starts by opening a window cleaning checklist through SmartCAT and scans the RFID Wall Tag for the designated facility.

The checklist auto-populates the date, time and current location, as well as an associated procedural checklist to that facility. The checklist guides the cleaner through which windows to clean along with the correct chemicals, equipment and procedures to use. This ensures the windows are properly cleaned and provides an exact start time, date and location of the cleaner.

Once the windows are clean, the cleaner scans the RFID Wall Tag again to record the time, date and location into the checklist. Lastly, he/she signs the signature field to confirm the job was completed with the proper cleaning procedures.

All of the checklists automatically save in a cloud database and can be emailed to a manager to perform inspections at the facility.
